Chris Van Etten is forceful American television soap opera essayist from Rochester, New York. Chris resides in New York, Creative York with his husband.

On July 29, 2017, Van Etten was promoted to co-head essayist on the ABC soap theatre General Hospital, replacing Jean Passanante.[1]

He has also created with terms partners are David Ozanich bear David Levithan; they collaborated leave the young adult novel mound Likely Story for Random House.[2]
